It’s come to our attention that we need to point out an extremely important guideline when submitting your stories for the Temporal Logbook.
As outlined in our Submission Guidelines, it is imperative that you submit your written story in the requested format in either a Word or Rich Text Format document. Stories must be formatted as follows:
- 1 inch margins all round (e.g. top, bottom, left, right).
- Double line spacing.
- full justified blocked.
- each page should contain author name, story title and page number in the header.
- typed using either Times New Roman, Arial or Tahoma 12 pt font. No fancy fonts.
- North American style double quotes to show speech (e.g. “What do you mean”, asked Sally).
We ask that you follow the above guidelines to help make it easier for us to read your story. If we have to spend time reformatting your story so that it can read in the proper format, this takes time away from the actual reading, and slows down the time it takes to get to read the other submissions. Unfortunately due to the number of submissions we have to read, we just don’t have the time to do this for each and every story received. If you fail to follow the format guidelines, your story runs the risk of being automatically rejected.
So please make sure you follow the formatting guidelines.
